ALMOT begins its journey

The ALMOT production, trade, and service company began operations in 1983 as a small craft workshop producing pistons and cylinders for internal combustion engines for the domestic market.

A major leap forward: our team grows to 70 specialists

The political transformation and the professional ambitions of our team fueled significant company growth starting in 1990. New production and employee facilities were established, and modern casting production processes were introduced. The machinery was upgraded to include CNC-controlled equipment, enabling increased production volume, expanded product range, and enhanced quality.

Bicycle parts wholesale

Since 1998, our company has hosted a rapidly growing wholesale division for bicycle parts and accessories. Increasing customer demand for both imported and domestic bicycle parts encouraged us to expand our operations in this sector. By 2003, bicycle parts sales accounted for over 50% of the company’s revenue. Notably, in 2002, we significantly increased our import of bicycle parts from Asian countries.

To attract new customers and meet the growing needs of existing partners, in 2004, the company purchased an additional nine 12-ton Mercedes trucks, bringing the fleet to 14, which enabled us to further expand our product range, particularly with imported items. Today, we collaborate with over 1,500 clients across the country.

We begin international expansion

Our products have also gained recognition in international markets and are now known across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Committed to continuously improving product quality, we implemented the ISO 9001 quality management system in 2002. Notably, the share of exports rose from 35% in 1994 to nearly 75% by 2008.

Electra – becoming the exclusive representative of these unique American bicycles

In 2005, ALMOT signed an exclusive agreement to bring the unique American Electra bicycles to Poland, adding a fresh appeal to our bicycle lineup. Within just three years, we built a dealership network that made Electra bikes available in 120 locations nationwide, as well as in six flagship stores in Warsaw, Gdynia, Poznań, Wrocław, and Bydgoszcz.

That same year, we opened our first retail store in Bydgoszcz on Szajnochy Street 2, offering 800 bicycles and 50 motorized vehicles. As our range expanded, we moved to a larger space on Jagiellońska Street 85 to better showcase our growing collection.

Our own brand of two-wheelers: Ferro

In 2007, we launched our own two-wheeler brand—Ferro. The initial lineup included three scooter models with 49cc engines. High demand for our vehicles quickly led to an expanded portfolio that included additional models and mopeds. By 2008, while promoting our brand at the Warsaw trade fair, we showcased a range of ten scooters and two mopeds. Our dealership and service network also grew rapidly, reaching 120 locations across the country.

Junak returns to the road – brand revival

The revival of the iconic Junak brand has been one of ALMOT’s greatest achievements over its 40 years in business. Our broad portfolio of motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds has secured us a significant share of the Polish market. Over the past 14 years, we’ve reached impressive milestones, selling more than 65,000 Junak mopeds and motorcycles.

At the same time, we established a network of 120 dealerships, which played a key role in positioning Junak as a national leader in two-wheeler sales, particularly in the moped and 125cc motorcycle categories.

New production facility with high-bay storage

In 2015, we took another big step forward with the launch of a new production facility, designed to meet the growing market demand for precision manufacturing and quick product access.

Spanning 1,700 m², this facility combines manufacturing with a high-bay warehouse, making resource management and product distribution more efficient than ever.

The optimized warehouse can store over 22,000 HD2 items and more than 5,000 Triumph products, each kept at steady inventory levels to ensure availability.

With seven advanced CNC machines integrated into the production line, we’ve boosted both the quality and efficiency of our operations, enabling complex machining tasks with outstanding accuracy.

Since its opening, the facility has become more than just a production hub—it’s a symbol of efficiency and innovation, driving our long-term growth and strengthening our position in the market.

ALMOT becomes the representative for Triumph Motorcycles

In April 2016, ALMOT became the exclusive representative of Triumph Motorcycles in Poland. By 2024, a network of seven dealerships was established across the country. This network is set to expand further in the near future, strengthening our market presence and enhancing accessibility for our customers.

ALMOT becomes the representative for Triumph Motorcycles in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine

In 2018, ALMOT was appointed the exclusive representative for Triumph Motorcycles in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Ukraine. Working closely with our international partners, we have developed a fast-growing sales network across these markets.

ALMOT becomes the exclusive representative for Zontes in Poland

With innovative features, appealing design, and solid quality, Zontes has built a reputation for blending modern style and quality with affordability.

Zontes motorcycles are the most advanced project developed by Guangdong Tayo Motorcycle Technology, a company founded in 2003 with over $400 million in capital. TAYO focuses on setting new standards in engineering and design, offering a wide range of scooters and motorcycles with engines from 125cc to 350cc. Starting in 2024, they’ll introduce larger models with engine capacities between 500cc and 700cc.

After three years of promoting the Zontes brand in Poland, ALMOT has expanded its sales network to 50 dealerships across the country.

New brand showrooms

In 2021, with an expanded portfolio of brands, we relocated to Fordońska Street 2, where we now operate two retail showrooms:

  • ALMOT showroom, offering Kross, Legrand, and Ecobike bicycles, complemented by a display of Junak and Zontes mopeds and motorcycles.
  • Giant store Fordońska, dedicated to Giant bicycles.
